A group of particle physicists have come forward and suggested that in future US elections, the two parties should hold their Conventions at the same time, with satellite uplinks feeding each speech into the other auditorium. Their theory is that the mindless, histrionics of each group of true believers shouting down the other would create a feedback loop so epic that successfully tapping into it could very well solve not only Earth's energy problems but the Sun's, too.
