The creators of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, have apologized for their role in the development of the so called "Stand Your Ground" laws heavily lobbied for by the NRA and passed by several states. In an official statement, the duo said, "We still find it hard to believe that someone watched the He's coming right for us! episode of South Park and thought, 'That shouldn't be a cartoon, that should be law', but there you go. Again, sorry about that."
